PURPOSE:To make a special mechanism unnecessary for setting a diaphragm at the time of a flash photographing by providing opposingly a light emitting element on a field luminance detecting photodetector, and setting its light emitting quantity by a distance and a film sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element LED2 is provided opposingly to a field luminance detecting photodetector SPD, and a driving current of the light emitting element is set by a distance operating circuit LO. At the time of a flash photographing, switches S2, S3 are closed, and the light emitting element emits a light by the driving current corresponding to a distance. As a result, the emitted light is made incident to the photodetector through a light guide 2 and a photodetecting diaphragm 3 interlocking with opening of a diaphragm-combined shutter, and the collector potential of a transistor Q3 drops following the opening of the shutter. When this potential reaches a prescribed value, a comparator CM2 is inverted, a flash light is emitted, and the shutter is closed. |
