In order to prevent deviant flows of the working media caused by pressure differentials between the fuel gas and the fresh air in a gas turbine with housing divided into ducts for fuel gas and fresh air and alternating admission of the fuel gas and the fresh air to the turbine blades, which also act as heat exchangers, the gas turbine is designed in such a way that in each turbine stage an equal pressure obtains in both media ducts, which is achieved both by the distribution of the compressed fresh air coming from a double-flow radial compressor between the combustion chamber and the inlet of the fresh air duct, and also by the nozzle-shaped design of the guide vane ducts in the air duct, so that the turbine wheels additionally have rotation imparted to them also in the air duct by the compressed air. This low-pressure, small gas turbine with axial blading is intended for use as an engine for current generators, hot water washing appliances for vehicles, ships and light aircraft, where, with its blade-heat exchange, it results in cheaper production and fuel savings previously unattained.
