PURPOSE:To set a horizontal scanning signal to one picture element, and to split-scan signals transmitted simultaneously with regard to R, G and B by an indicator, by constituting so that a picture signal temporarily stored in a memory can be called optionally by a memory control part. CONSTITUTION:When electrodes of R, G and B are arranged in a line side, and the line side is brought to linear progressive scanning, a call of a data inputted to a signal circuit 7 follows a linear progressive signal which has split a linear progressive scanning signal of a received one picture element unit controlled by a memory control part 4, to lines of R, G and B of one dot unit of an indicator. A driving input of the indicator is brought to linear progressive scanning by setting R, G and B as one line each, by which the electrode of the line and the row can be drawn by a dot size of a straight line, and a color display having no differenc of a color tone by the left and right visual angles can be executed without reducing a numerical aperture and without executing such a drawing- round of the electrode as reduces a yield of a panel.
