PURPOSE:To enable to effectively give a lost motion function, by a method wherein a switch valve, which keeps a piston in a floating condition, is disposed halfway along oil passages leading to both chambers of a cylinder for inclination. CONSTITUTION:A device consists of a pump unit 14, comprising a hydrualic pump 11, a tank 12, and a direction-switching control valve 13, and a cylinder unit 25 including a cylinder 17 for inclination serving as an actuator for inclining forward a cab. The cylinder unit 25 is provided with a safety lock mechanism 24, consisting of a pair of check valves 22 and 23, which is located halfway along onil passages 20 and 21 leading to two chambers 18 and 19 of a cylinder 17, and is provided halfway along the two oil passages with a switch valve 30 which has a function to bring the two oil passages 20 and 21 in a communicating condition and a function to shut off the two oil passages 20 and 21 and short-circuit the two chambers 18 and 19. A device is constituted such that a given lost motion function is provided when the switch valve 30 is switched to a right position.
