PURPOSE:To improve the shared channel operating efficiency by receiving an in-frame sending end position signal, making a collision detection circuit effective during the period, holding the idle detection state during the period of frame transmission and restarting the detection after the elapse of time. CONSTITUTION:A transmission control circuit 21 receives a pulse signal outputted as BCAZ information at every octet transmission in a transmission frame from a data transmission circuit 23 and gives a command to a collision detection circuit 24 so as to supervise the presence of generation of collision during the time when the field during transmission is discriminated to be an address field. Since a frame is sent to the shared channel, the output (SDR) of an idle detection circuit 22 changes naturally from the idle detection before the start of transmission into the signal state without idle frame. During the period of frame transmission, the output of the idle detection circuit 22 is kept to the idle detection state by using a flip-flop, etc. |
