PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasive film for precise machining of electronic parts, optical parts or the like and for general mirror polishing which is capable of forming a satisfactory polished surface, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The abrasive film 1 is provided with a base material film 2 and an abrasive layer 8 formed on the base material film, wherein the abrasive layer is composed of at least a chain abrasive body 4 in which abrasive grains are connected together in a chain and a binder 5.
