PURPOSE:To decrease the period of development, to decrease the development cost and to attain easy change by adopting arranged constitution for each control section in a control circuit for a public telephone set used in common for coin and card so that a card control section controlling a card mechanism part and a public telephone set controlling section are separated electrically and physically mutually. CONSTITUTION:The public telephone set controlling section 6 and the card control section 7 are separated neatly and the two are provided respectively with a processor. The functions of the public telephone set controlling section 6 and the card control section 7 are shared; the card control section 7 controls the card mechanism 8 and the public telephone set control section 6 performs correspondence with a station and conducts the state control of a public telephone set and the charge processing control or the like. Thus, the public telephone set controlling section 6 and the card control section 7 progress processing independently by simply communicating with the card information. For example, the card controlling section 7 detecting the insertion of a card in talking takes in the card, reads the number of calls of the card and transmits it to the public telephone set controlling section 6. The public telephone set controlling section 6 conducts calling processing and attains talking. |
