PURPOSE:To obtain a distinct picture image as well as to improve the light resistance of the picture image by using a specified compd. in a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer provided on a base material. CONSTITUTION:At least one layer of a photosensitive silver halide emulsion is provided on a base material and a compd. expressed by the formula [wherein R<1>, R<2> are H, alkyl, aralkyl; m is 1-3; A is H, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, R<3>SO2NH-(R<3> is alkyl), R<3>CONH., -COOR<3>-, -SO2R<3>, -CONR<1>R<2>, -SO2NR<1>R<2>; G is -COOH, -OH or a precursor thereof; Z1 a group of nonmetallic atoms forming an N-contg. heterocyclic ring; L is a coupling group; Y is a component capable of releasing a diffusive azo pigment compd. or a precursor thereof from the compd. expressed by the formula]. The pigment transferred image-wise from said photosensitive element is converted to a complex compound in an image receiving layer contg. a metallic ion exhibiting superior absorptivity for a color picture image. |
