An image capturing method, an image capturing device, and a driving device are provided to obtain more dark current by not maintaining a signal charge in a charge transfer unit, and reduce a point detect and a level. The entire exposure period(t10-t40) are divided into a front part and a rear part, a signal charge corresponding to a low sensitivity pixel signal is read and outputted at a time point t20 so as to be used for an output signal, and a signal charge corresponding to a high sensitivity pixel signal at a final timing t40 of the electronic entire exposure period so as to be used for an output signal. While exposure and accumulation continue during the rear part(t20-t40) of the entire exposure period, a signal charge for a low sensitivity pixel signal read and outputted to a vertical CCD(Charge Coupled Device) at a time point t20 is not retained at the vertical CCD and reliably line-shifted up to a time point t40 at which the high sensitivity pixel signal is read and outputted.
