PURPOSE:To produce easily a filmlike electrically conductive polymeric composition, useful for fields of electronic devices, by oxidizing a specific compound on an anode having a dielectric thin film layer on the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A compound selected from (A) benzene (derivative), e.g. phenol or benzene, (B) a heterocyclic five-membered ring compound containing one oxygen or nitrogen family element, e.g. pyrrole or furan, and (C) a compound having plural rings, selected from benzene rings and heterocyclic five-membered rings containing one oxygen or nitrogen family element, and linked directly or through ether, sulfide, selenide or telluride bonds, e.g. diphenyl telluride, provided that at most two groups of halogens, OH, NH2 and 1-8C hydrocarbons are H are linked to the rings of the respective compounds is oxidized on an anode 1 having a thin dielectric film layer 2 having <=1,000Angstrom thickness on the surface thereof.
