The breathing apparatus comprises a breathing bag consisting of a rigid fixed wall 17, a rigid mobile wall 18 and three concentric cylindrical deformable walls 19, 33 and 8. The inner wall 19 defines a bag for exhaling. The annular space 31 formed between the intermediate wall and the inner wall forms a bag for inhaling. The breathing bag also includes a deformable membrane 15 which, with the fixed wall 17, defines a chamber receiving the breathing mixture and communicating with the bag for inhaling 31.
