Process, apparatus and circuit arrangement for determining the weight of piece goods, for example filled packs, conveyed continuously and singly in the conveying direction, by means of an automatic check balance, the weighing system of which carries, in addition to a weighbridge and a conveyor band running over the latter, for the goods, rotating or oscillating driving elements for the conveyor band, in which, in order to suppress periodic interference signals superimposed on the weighing signal and caused by driving elements, the weighing signal of each goods item is sensed a plurality of times at approximately equal intervals over a cycle of movement of a selected drive element causing interference signals, and an average value is formed from the obtained sensed values of the weighing signal and represents the weight of the particular goods item.
