A device for keeping a flow of pressure medium constant, at least partly filtered by means of a filter, in particular for a hydrostatic power-assisted steering arrangement on an agricultural tractor, has a bypass flow regulator (3) which has a restriction point (14) of invariable cross-section and a spool (2) under the force of a spring (17). In order to combine the filter with the flow regulator in a simple manner, the filter (4) is connected in series with the restriction point. The spring side of the spool is connected to the restriction point on the side remote from its pressure-medium feed and the other side of the spool is connected to the pressure-medium feed (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
