摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide high accuracy and excellent responsiveness even if flow rate is small and to prevent sticking of dust, etc. on the surface of a heating elements by disposing plural restrictors in front of the heating element and forming colliding jets on the surface of the heating element. CONSTITUTION:Plural nozzles 8 are disposed around a heating element 1 mounted on a tubular body 4 so that a fluid 5 to be measured collides against the element 1 and forms jets. A heat transfer rate is a function of an average flow rate and therefore if the temp. difference between the element 1 and the fluid 1 is maintained constant, the flow rate can be measured by measuring the electric power to be supplied to the element 1 by a detecting circuit 6. The heat transfer rate is increased by the jets to the element 1 and therefore high accuracy and excellent responsiveness are obtd. even if the flow rate is small. Sticking of foreign matter such as dust on the surface of the heating element is prevented.</p>
