<p>Method for the non-coherent demodulation of a digital signal which is linearly modulated and has a constant symbol energy, and demodulator for implementing such method. The method comprises the demodulation of a linearly modulated signal by a sequence of information symbols alpha0, ..., alphaN-1 affected by a blank gauss noise. The received signal is processed by the demodulator to obtain block sequences of L data containing all the information of the received signal. Thereafter, by means of a recursive algorithm, a sequence of symbols alpha0, ..., alphaN-1, is derived from those data, said sequence maximizing an approached plausibility function. Said invention is particularly intended to satellite connections and to radiomobile communications. </p> |
