PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts, to simplify a structure, and to facilitate mounting, by a method wherein the mirror body of a vehicle room mirror is mounted directly to a mirror case body. CONSTITUTION:A mirror case body 2, pivotally secured to a stay 3 by means of a ball bearing 24, is covered with a mirror cover 4 having an opening at its front to be formed in the shape of a box, and a recess 25, engaging with a projection 12 on the top end of a mirror body 1, is provided in a ceiling part. And a retainer part 28, having the angle control crest 27 engaging with an angle control mechanism formed by a spring 16, mounted to the lower part of the mirror body 1, and a steel ball 17, is attached to a floor part. This enables a mirror to be held in a manner that the mirror body 1 is swung in two positions around the projection 12 serving as a center through control of a lever 14 mounted at the lower end of the mirror body 1. |
