PURPOSE:To decrease the number of key switches without deteriorating the degree of freedom for distribution of key switches by using an ON key is used in common with a feed key. CONSTITUTION:A key 7 is provided in common uses for feed and on. As a result, this double function key is distributed according to custom in terms of the distribution of key switches. Therefore the function of both FEED and ON keys can be satisfied, and the degree of freedom is secured for distribution of other key switches without giving any new limitation for distribution of key switches. In addition, the data held inside is never lost even though the ON key is pushed by mistake excepting for a power-down mode since the key functions as a feed key only to feed paper.
