PURPOSE:To seal thoroughly hermetically a casting mold and a pressurizing chamber under low press contact force and to simplify a lifting mechanism for press contact by providing a cylindrical projecting member of a metallic material in the position where the top surface at the shoulder part of the casting mold is in proximity to the outside of the aperture in the lower part of the hermetic chamber. CONSTITUTION:A casting mold 23 has a relatively large outside diameter D2 and an annular projecting member 24 is embedded in the position where the shoulder part 4U of the top surface of said mold faces the aperture 9H in the lower part of a hermetic chamber in proximity to each other as far as possible, that is, in the circumferential edge of the hermetic chamber having an inside diameter D1. The member 24 is a metallic material and the projecting part 24U is brought into locally strong press contact with the bottom surface 9BD of a covering member over the entire circumference in the flat part of an annular asbestos packing 12 having a thickness (g). The sealing function is improved by the above-mentioned device, by which the thorough hermetic sealing is accomplished under low press contact force and the mechanism is made simple. |
