PURPOSE:To call a PBX extension subscriber of caller from a PBX of called party and then to call the PBX extension subscriber of the called party when the PBX extension subscriber of the called party is idle by providing an extension camp-on storage device between PBXs to the PBX of the called party. CONSTITUTION:When the extension subscriber 12 of the called party is busy, the extension subscriber 2 of the caller dials a set number of the extension camp-on between the PBXs. A CPU3 transmits an extension number of the extension subscriber 2 and the extension number of the extension subscriber 12 to a CPU13, and the CPU13 stores them in an extension camp-on storage device 17 between the PBXs. Then, when the CPU13 discriminates that the extension subscriber 12 hooks on, the CPU13 inquires about whether the subscriber 2 is idle or not in order to call the extension subscriber 2 from the storage device 17. When idle, the CPU13 transmits the extension number of the extension subscriber 2 from a sender 16. When the extension subscriber 2 responds, the response signal is returned via private line trunks 5, 15 and after the CPU13 detects it, the extension number of the extension subscriber 12 is read from the storage device 12 and a call signal is transmitted to the extension subscriber 12. |
