A curtain suspended by runners on a rail, for closing a loading aperture in a side of a vehicle incorporates a flexible electrical conductor extending along a meandering path covering a major part of the surface of the curtain between the two ends of the curtain and at the or each movable end of the curtain the cable is connected by a jack and socket into a circuit of an alarm system. Cutting of one of the conductors will trigger the alarm by causing an open circuit while connecting two of them during a cutting operation will trigger the alarm by closing a normally-open circuit. |
