PURPOSE:To ensure the effective numerical control by selecting an area where a menu train or a status is displayed with selection of an operation part and a function selection key of a device. CONSTITUTION:A numerical controller consists of a CRT17, a device control part 19 and a CRT control part 21. The part 21 includes a CRT operation part 21a and a power supply 21b. Then the CRT17 is divided into three sections, that is, an area A1 where a menu train 25 is displayed in response to a multi-purpose key train 23 of the part 21, an area A2 where the status of a device is displayed in response to the part 19 and an area A3 where the present state of the device is displayed with a power supply 47a turned on to the train 23. Then the part 21a sets data and performs other CRT controls with selection the part 21a and a function changeover key 41 of the device. |
