The invention relates to a liquid fuel burner for generating a clear blue flame. The burner (1) comprises a combustion chamber (86) having a calibrated aperture (46) for blowing a blue flame outwardly therethrough and being fed with secondary air and with an atomized fuel pre-mixed with primary air. Both the fuel and air are pressure fed along paths (31,50,54,79) in thermal contact with heat sources (51,53,82), preferably comprising electric resistors, for pre-heating both the air and fuel being delivered to the combustion chamber (86). |
