PURPOSE:To match the two sides of a plate material attracted to attracting devices for positioning to reference lines in X- and Y directions and to position said material by providing an arm having a cylinder which approaches a holding frame provided with attracting devices for positioning to a base column in said plural attracting devices in the direction where the arm is inclined with respect to both reference lines. CONSTITUTION:When a plate material 13 is attracted only by the vacuum pad 105 of an attracting device 69, an arm 43 attains the relation alpha+beta=90 deg. and alpha<beta between the angle alpha thereof to a reference line 35 in the X-axis direction and the angle beta thereof to a reference line 39 in the Y-axis direction. When a stanchion 67 of a holding frame is approached to a base column 61 by driving a cylinder 71 of the arm 13, the adjacent two sides of the material 13 approach to the line 39 earlier than to the line 35 with the relation sinalpha<sinbeta and even if either one of two clamps 31, 31 contacts therewith, the pad 105 turns a shaft part 107 to oscillate the material 13 thereby matching the same to both lines 35, 39. |
