<p>PURPOSE:To improve treating efficiency for org. substances in org. waste liquid by allowing org. substances adsorbed to an adsorbent to contact with acidogenic bacteria or with acidogenic bacteria in combination with methane fermentation bacteria in anaerobic condition and producing org. acid soln. or methane. CONSTITUTION:The liquid 10 discharged from an adsorption stage 2, waste liquid 11 from a washing stage 8, and waste liquid 12 from a methane fermentation stage 9 are conducted to an aerobic biological treatment stage 14 where BOD is eliminated by the activated sludge process, etc.; solids are separated from liquid, sterilization is performed, and the water is liberated as treated water. In this process, org. waste 1 is supplied to an adsorption stage 2 using an adsorbent such as activated coal, etc. and soluble org. substances and fine org. matters having <= several mu particle size are adsorbed to the adsorbent. Adsorbed org. matters are desorbed from the adsorbent and transferred to a draining stage 3; solids are separated from liquid and water is removed. The adsorbent is transferred to an acid formation stage 4 after draining water from the adsorbent, where the adsorbent is brought into contact with acidogenic bacteria to generate org. acid and the adsorbent is regenerated simultaneously.</p> |
