PURPOSE:To make the occurrence of abnormal discharge preventable, by detecting a time distribution state from voltage impression to the generation of discharge, and discriminating between normal discharge and abnormal one on the basis of the detected result, while spouting an optimum machining solution onto a gap between poles so as to restore the abnormal discharge to normalness. CONSTITUTION:A reversible counter 67 counts the number of generation being judged as a state of being abnormal by time distribution ranging from voltage impressing to discharge generating and give notice of anything unusual via a DA converter 112. In addition, according to the details of the counter 67, the counter 67 opens each of valves V1-V4 corresponding to counting values 2<6>-2<9> and feeds a gap between poles with a machining solution flow of 100, 200, 400 and 800cc/min each by way of a spouting passage 118 of a machining electrode 10, and when the counting value is more than a range of 2<10>, it opens a forced jet valve V5 via an OR circuit 19 and gives a liquid flow of several thousands cc/min, but when the value is below 2<5>, it gives a minute flow with a manual valve V0. Thus discharge of sludge if efficiently performable so that discharge efficiency can be improved. |
