PURPOSE:To facilitate the position control and speed control by operating a liquid hydraulic actuator by means of the liquid pressure generated by the reciporcating motion of a piston via a ball screw caused by the operation of a DC servo motor and feedback-controlling the servo motor. CONSTITUTION:A hollow piston 5 is stored in a cylinder 2, and a ball screw nut 7 screwed and fixed to a ball screw 6 rotated by a DC servo motor 1 and extending through the piston 5 is fixed to the piston 5. Oil hydraulic chambers 8, 9 communicating to ports 3, 4 are formed between the cylinder 2 and piston 5, and individual ports 3, 4 are connected to individual chambers 31, 32 of the cylinder 23 of a liquid hydraulic actuator 20. The piston 5 is moved by the operation of the servo motor 1, thereby the liquid hydraulic actuator 20 is operated via the liquid pressure fed or discharged through individual liquid hydraulic chambers 8, 9 and the servo motor 1 is feedback-controlled in accordance with outputs of a position detector 25 and a rotation detector 11.
