The steam generating boiler comprises a vertical cylindrical housing (1) with a cylindrical water chamber (2) a the bottem, an amular steam chamber(1) a the top and on eccentric combustion chamber (3) defined by circumferentially spaced water tubes between them. The crescent-section space between the housing wall(3) and the combustion chamber tube wall is enclosed by a wall (5) of spaced vertical water tubes. This space forms a passage (12,13) for combustion gas containing steam tubes(4) and has a portion bunded by parts of the tube wall (9) and the combustion chamber tube wall respecpively containing down-flow water tubes. The passage (12,13) contains a horizontal partition (8) not extending into the drop tube portion so that the combusion gas first passes through the lower part (12) and rises alongside the drop tubes to enter into the upper part(13) which connects to lateral flue outlet(11). |
