PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noise by providing a nonmagnetic material in all parts other than a track width part of a face part, which is slid on a magnetic recording medium, so that a winding provided around a magnetic head is not across the nonmagnetic material. CONSTITUTION:A composite block 14 is cut along virtual faces indicated by long and short dash alternating lines, namely, ferrite-glass boundary lines which pass through a glass charged in grooves and are exposed to the upper face of the composite block, thus producing magnetic head chips. This magnetic head chip is polished into prescribed diemensions to obtain a desired gap depth, and a winding 17 is provided in a winding window 16 to constitute a magnetic head 18. Magnetic core parts 19 and 19' consisting of ferrite rectangular parallelepiped block parts and a gap 20 are provided. |
