<p>A stone crushing mill comprising in particular stone crushing unit "a", feeder "b" and electrical drive system "c" is mounted on its own base frame unit "d". The whole is adapted to be carried on a multi- axled low trailer "f" and accordingly does not require its own wheel carriage, brakes, lights, blinkers etc. The crushing mill is thus transported to the required side where it can be lifted from the trailer, e.g. by means of hydraulic jacks inserted in pockets "i" in frame "d" and then base supports "e" are pivoted downwards towards the ground to support the mill in use.
