The present invention relates to an indoor position tracking system comprising: a sensor terminal unit which is attached to an object for tracking a position, generates real-time position information by using acceleration information and direction information, and periodically transmits position information of a user moved from an initial position; a relay terminal unit which receives the position information from the sensor terminal unit, and updates the position information in real time; and a user terminal unit which receives the position information for the sensor terminal unit from the relay terminal unit, and displays the position of the sensor terminal unit on a map through a stored map display program based on the received position information. The indoor position tracking system can save costs because a base station of a mobile carrier or a GPS device is not necessary; and can recognize indoor position information of a skyscraper instead of disadvantages of the GPS device which cannot measure height. The indoor position tracking system is provided to display the current position and the moving path of the sensor terminal unit of the object on the map displayed on the user terminal unit, thereby checking the position and the moving state of the object in real time. |
