PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in an information signal such as a character and a figure by allowing the information to pass through a filter other than a filter for a conventional television signal only during the period of the coded information signal representing the character and the or the like inserted during a vertical blanking period. CONSTITUTION:When a television character multiplex signal (a) is inputted from a terminal 1, the gain is controlled by an AGC circuit 2. A delay circuit 4 forms a delay pulse C in-phase to an information signal B in the television character multiplex broadcast signal and corresponding to the period of the information signal B from the vertical synchronizing signal and gives the result to switches 10 and 13. A low pass filter 5 is a filter decreasing the signal pass characteristic of high frequency being >=3MHz, the information signal passes through the low pass filter 5 without being deteriorated and is recorded sufficiently on magnetic tape via the switch 13, a recording amplifier circuit 14, and a recording head 15. In case of reproduction, an FM-detected output is extracted via the low pass filter and an excellent reproducing signal without deterioration is obtained. |
