The invention relates to a combination lock for securing skis, bicycles or the like, having a lock case, from which extends rigidly one end of a loop, the other free end of which can be inserted into a channel of the lock case and is held by the lock assembly, and proposes, for a design favourable in terms of production and use, that a latch (15) for catching the free end (6) be seated in the insertion channel (12) of the lock case (1), said latch (15) being seated on a setting-disk bearing axle (3) displaceably counter to a spring effect (spring F1); the latch can be disengaged by an actuating knob (21) of the setting-disk bearing axle (3) (if the secret code is correctly set) as the result of displacement together with the setting-disk bearing axle. <IMAGE>
