PURPOSE:To improve the transmission efficiency by responding without setting a synchronizing period in a time slot to be responded by a slave station in a polling system using a frequency hopping system. CONSTITUTION:A polling signal 7 is transmitted as shown in (a) from a master station in succession to a coarse tuning period 11. Each slave station holds synchronism to hold its hopping pattern to be coincident with that of the master station. Thus, each slave station corrects a propagating time between the master station and the slave station at the start of response. Further, each slave station responds by omitting the coarse tuning period as shown in b, c, d. |
