PURPOSE:To perform high speed movement and high resolution by moving a pulse motor by a drive by 2-phase excitation immediately before reaching the set position, and converting 2-1 phase excitation immediately before the set position. CONSTITUTION:If a pulse generation command which moves by 23, 5 steps in CW direction is applied to a pulse motor controller 10, a decoder 14 is supplied from terminal C1-C4 to the exciting coils L1-L4 of a pulse motor 4, and the motor 4 is moved by 23 steps by a 2-phase excitation system. When movement of 23 steps is completed, the controller 10 sets the signal level of CW and half advance command to a decoder 14 to ''1''. Thus, the motor 4 is excited in 2-1 phase, the motor 4 is driven in the angle of half of one step by the 2- phase excitation so far, and the movements of the motor 4 to the 23, 5 steps applied as the pulse generation commands are completed. |
