PURPOSE:To rationalize the treatment in test operation, by a method wherein a transmission boat for transmitting a direction detecting signal and radar beacon is turned around a base ship having a direction finder to be inspected mounted thereto and the azimuth signal and azimuth information from the transmisson boat are received, recorded and compared. CONSTITUTION:A transmission boat 11 is allowed to turn around a ship during test operation and radio waves are always emitted from an antenna 12 for a direction finder and an antenna 12a for emitting radar beacon. The radar beacon is received by a ship radar 13 of the base ship and a video signal is inputted to a collision preventing apparatus (ARPA) 15 through a receiving apparatus 14. On the other hand, the direction finder 18 tracks the radio wave from the antenna and an angle signal is inputted to a direction finder data measuring processing apparatus 20. This apparatus 20 collects the azimuth signal from the finder 18 at a moment when azimuth information from the apparatus 15 is coincided with the reading azimuth of the finder 18 set at equal angles and this azimuth signal value and the azimuth information from the apparatus 15 are recorded and compared to obtain the adjusting data of the finder 18. By this mechanism, treatment in test operation can be rationalized. |
