Disclosed is a gas injection valve (1) comprising: an electromagnet (9) which has a magnetic core (4) and a magnetic coil (5) that are arranged in an inner sleeve (3) in a fixed manner; and comprising a magnet armature (22) which is arranged in a gas chamber (20) and which interacts with a sealing seat (35; 36) for opening and closing at least one injection opening (31; 32) through which the gaseous fuel can exit. An outer sleeve (2) is also provided which surrounds the inner sleeve (3) at least partially such that an annular space (6) is formed between the outer sleeve (2) and the inner sleeve (3). The gaseous fuel is fed to the injection openings (31; 32) through the annular space (6).
