A heat-shrinkable sleeve for repair of electrical cable sheaths and for covering cable connections comprises a flexible extruded heat-shrinkable sheet (5) having a row of tabs (11) along one edge and a corresponding row of longitudinal slots (19) adjacent the opposing edge. The tabs each have a reduced base and a larger end portion so that the base will fit in a longitudinal slot and the larger end portion will engage the sheet material surrounding the slot. A transverse slot (21) extends between each longitudinal slot and the adjacent edge of the sheet to permit insertion of the base of each tab into the corresponding longitudinal slot to lock the edges of the sheet together to form a sleeve.
