A tamper proof closure cap, method, and a mould for making same.

A tamper proof closure cap (10) for a container, a mould (47) for manufacturing the cap (10) and a method for removing the cap (10) from the mould (47) are defined. The cap (10) is designed with the tamper proof skirt (24) as a unitary structure with the main body (14) of the cap. The skirt (24) has unique structural aspects which allow for less complexity in the mould (47) and ease of removal of the cap (10) from the mould (47). The mould (47) includes a stripper ring (56) which laterally supports the skirt (24) and permits a shift of the pivot plane (C) forthe skirt (24) relativeto the main body portion (14) during removal of the cap (10) from the mould (57).
