PURPOSE:To reduce scatter of positional relation between a yoke and a spool and improve an accuracy by a method wherein the position of end face of the spool is determined with respect to the yoke by using a jig, thereafter, a spring is set to a predetermined load, the jig is removed and a balancing spring is incorporated. CONSTITUTION:A valve main body 12, a spool 13, a valve sleeve 14, ball valve 17, a relief pressure setting spring 19, a sleeve 21, a yoke 22 and the like are assembled, thereafter, the jig 50 is screwed into the yoke 22 and the spool is slid against the spring 19. When the end face of flange 51 of the jig is abutted against the end face of the yoke, the upper end of the spool is located at the tip end of the yoke 22. Under this condition, pressure fluid is supplied from a port 34 and the position of a valve seat member 15 is adjusted to give the spring the predetermined load. The jig is removed, the balance spring is interposed between the spool and a set screw and is fixed, then, the position of the set screw ia adjusted to adjust the balance spring so as to be provided with the predetermined load. |
