PURPOSE:To simplify the wiring structure and improve the reliability of the operation, by integrally incorporating in the body a temperature-dependent resistor and a switch for detecting the liquid level, and connecting lead wires led from the switch to the resistor within the body. CONSTITUTION:A switch 4 for detecting the liquid level L and a temperature- dependent resistor 8 are integrally provided on an oil level gauge 9 inside an oil tank 10 as a liquid containing unit. A float 16 vertically moves between a cap 12 of the oil level gauge 9 and a mounting seat 15 while following the level L of the oil. When a movable contact 7 at the lower end of the float 16 comes in contact with respective contact parts 5a, 5b of fixed contacts 5, 6 provided on the mounting seat 15, the detection switch 4 is turned ON. Lead wires 18, 18 extending from the switch 4 are connected to the resistor 8 through the inside of a pipe 13. Accordingly, the wiring structure is simplified, and the reliability is improved. |
