PURPOSE:To position a recording paper with high accuracy, by a method wherein a recording paper is fed by pressing a recording head to the platen roller side, and the paper is drawn backward by releasing the recording head and pressing another roller to the platen roller side. CONSTITUTION:When feeding the recording paper 1, the recording head 5 is pressed to the platen roller 4 side. When drawing backward the recording paper 1, the head 5 is released, and an appropriate pressure is exerted by a pressure roller 2. To equalize the feed quantity and the draw-back quantity of the recording paper 1, the pressure exerted when feeding the paper 1 and the pressure exerted when drawing backward the paper 1 are balanecd with each other. |
