PURPOSE:To improve the function of bypassing a filter when oil is relieved by a filter head, by forming the communication hole of the filter head in a shape tapered from the side of this oil inlet to the side of its oil outlet. CONSTITUTION:The communication hole 18 in a filter head 1 is formed in a shape tapered from the side of an oil inlet 3 to the side of an oil outlet 4. In this way, a movable valve body 16, which closes the communication hole 18 in the side of the oil outlet 4, can be formed in a small diameter. Accordingly, unfiltered hydraulic oil, when it is relieved, can easily advance to the oil outlet 4. While, the movable valve body 16 is not easily influenced by hydraulic oil flowing via a flow path 6. Accordingly, the function of bypassing a filter is improved when the filter head 1 relieves the oil.
