The method for the assembly of floats comprises the fitting of prejection parts (30) of a girder (2) into hollow housings (31) of a hull (1) to prevent any longitudinal sliding of the girder (2) with respect to the hull (1) and to block any spacing-apart motion in the transversal direction of those two elements by means of a tube (3) which traverses the float (100) and is pinned at each end. The hull (1) bears on the girder (2) by means of flanges (11). The tube (3) acts as a support for the girder (2). The invention may be applied to any floating craft fitted with a plurality of those floats (100), capable of receiving many alternative superstructures.
