In an anti-theft arrangement, for example a remote control arrangement for unlocking the doors of a motor vehicle, recognition of the unlocking code by a receiver installed in the vehicle gives rise to resending, to surrounding elements such as a car radio set or a computer controlled ignition system, of a coded message transmitted by wire which allows operation of these elements.
