PURPOSE:To miniaturize the entire reactor and reduce the weight of the reactor by constituting a magnetic core with four magnetic legs orthogonal to a common magnetic pole and the I-shaped common magnetic leg and taking the cross sectional area between the inside magnetic legs two times or over the other parts. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic core 6 consists of a magnetic core assembly 7 provided with the four magnetic legs 7b, 7c, 7d and 7e orthogonal to the common magnetic leg 7a and of the I-shaped magnetic core assembly 8 being the other common magnetic leg. The notch of the common magnetic leg 7a between the magnetic legs 7c and 7d is formed shallower so that the cross sectional area is two times or over the other parts. An AC winding 9 is wound so as to be bridged over the magnetic legs 7c and 7d and a control winding 10 is wound so as to be bridged over the magnetic legs 7c and 7b. Further, the inductance of the AC winding 9 is varied by flowing the AC current to the AC winding 9 and flowing a control current to the control winding 10 so as to control the AC current. |
