PURPOSE:To make it possible to periodically supply lubircant so that a universal joint exhibits its performance at maximum, by disposing rotatable spherical members in the openings of lubricant supply and feed passages, respectively, and as well by connecting both spherical members together through a communication pipe. CONSTITUTION:A rotable spherical member 22 is disposed in an opening 13 in the coupling side end face of a supply passage formed in a yoke 2. Meanwhile, a rotatable spherical member 23 is disposed in the opening of a feed passage 15 formed in a yoke 23 on the lubricant receiving side thereof, and is connected with the spherical member 22 through a communication pipe 28. With this arrangement lubricant may be periodically fed without disassemblying and reassemblying the universal joint. Accordingly, the universal joint may exhibit its performance at maximum. |
