PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device that allows a usable life of an image carrier to be prolonged.SOLUTION: An image formation device comprises: a photoreceptor drum 311 that has a photoreceptor layer part 311B in which a layer thickness of a first end part 311E is thicker than a layer thickness of a second end part 311F; a charge roller that charges the photoreceptor layer part 311B; an optical scanning device that irradiates the photoreceptor layer part 311B with light to form an electrostatic latent image; a developing device that develops the electrostatic latent image by toner charged by toner having the same polarity as a charge polarity of the photoreceptor layer part 311B; an intermediate transfer belt 361 that has a photoreceptor layer part 361B in which a layer thickness of a third end part 361D is thicker than a layer thickness of a fourth end part 361E, in which the third end part 361D is arranged to oppose the second end part 311F, and the fourth end part 361E arranged to oppose the first end part 311E,; and a primary transfer roller 314 that causes a toner image having a voltage of the charge polarity and a reverse polarity applied and developed on a surface of the photoreceptor layer part 311B to be transferred to a surface layer part 361B of the intermediate transfer belt 361.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
