摘要 In such a process for filtering dust-laden dirty gases, the dirty gas is led through dust-removing filter chambers and clean gas is then led in countercurrent through filter chambers to be cleaned. Filling a rectangular floor space with filter elements arranged in rows is unfavourable with respect to the flow-through of dirty gas. The dust collection bunkers arranged below each filter chamber and thus their dust discharge devices are subjected to relatively low loads, so that the efficiency of dust removal and the loading of the devices are each assessed unfavourably. In order to achieve high gas throughput with high filter efficiency and short down times for the cleaning apparatuses, it is proposed that the dirty gas is fed radially at the periphery in a rotating circular zone system, is led from the inlet into divided, separating dirty gas part-streams over a part of the periphery, that the clean gas streams from the individual filter zones are collected in a central clean gas shaft and that a continuous clean gas part-stream is led off from the central clean gas shaft at the periphery roughly opposite to the feed of the dirty gas and is led through a cleaning zone and then returned into the dirty gas stream and that the dust is discharged at a peripheral point, at most at two further peripheral points. <IMAGE>
