PURPOSE:To obtain a toner giving a clear sepia copy by adding a specified spinel type ferrite. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains a spinel type ferrite represented by a formula MOFe2O3 (where M is mg or Zn). A binder resin such as styrene resin or wax such as polyethylene wax is blended with said spinel type ferrite of 0.2- 1.0mum length and a dye or a pigment for coloring such as ''Permanent Red 4R''. The blend is melted, kneaded, and pulverized to obtain the desired toner. To the blend may be added a colorless or light-colored charge controller. |
