Disclosed is a display device capable of defining and suppressing spreading of a filler material by forming a protrusion in a substrate when bonding substrates by filling a filler material. The display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate including a display area arranged to face the first substrate and a peripheral frame area of the display area; and a filler material which overlaps with at least a part of the display area and the frame area and is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the second substrate has a first protrusion part formed in the frame area, the edge part of the filler material is located in a range from the first protrusion part to an end part of the first substrate and the second substrate, and the filler material is continuously extended without an interface in its inside from the overlapping area in the display area to the edge part. |
